| Pharmacodynamic Properties |
Mode of Action: Pyrantel acts as a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent in susceptible nematodes. It causes persistent activation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to spastic paralysis and expulsion of the worms from the gastrointestinal tract.
